The specs on the Gauntlet 2 indicate a 15% lower effort to cock the rifle. Is this lower pressure due to a different hammer spring or is it the result of the additional leverage from a longer cocking lever? My Gauntlet 1 is very hard to cock so this could be a deciding factor for me.

Is the barrel threaded ? What adjustments can be made ? The article does not seem to go into any technical advantages.
