Have a Legendary Summer!

I don’t know why I let this surprise me. It’s the same thing every summer, and, honestly, it makes a lot of sense– summer is just the time to be outside and doing fun things with the family and your friends. That being the case, we have noticed that the Legends series air guns have been enjoying brisk sales this summer. For the reasons above and a few to follow, our Legends BB pistols and carbines go with summer like lemonade and mosquitoes. Except lemonade is refreshing and tastes great and getting close to a mosquito is preferable only if there's a politician buzzing around you at the same time.

Why Summer?

Summer with all of its attributes, good or bad, is the best time to get out and do some CO2 airgun shooting. As you have probably experienced at one point or another, cooler weather is not the best weather to shoot CO2 powered air guns. The cooler ambient temperatures in later fall, winter, and early spring will cause the valve to freeze on your CO2 powered airgun. There are some tips and tricks to make them work for a while, but your best bet is to just wait until the weather changes.

And that puts us smack dab in the middle of that time period where you can enjoy hosing down some Birchwood-Casey Shoot-N-C Targets in fully automatic mode with your new Legends M1A1, M3 Grease Gun, MP40 or M712– all of which are equipped with a fully automatic mode.

Yes, you can let the BBs fly without fear of the valve freezing.

What are You Waiting for?

If you haven’t picked out your very own Legends BB gun, what on earth are you waiting for?

We’ve linked some of our favorites below. Just remember to get BBs and CO2 to go along with your Legends BB blaster. One super easy way to do that is to look at the top of the product page for our Range Ready Bundle deals.

M1A1

In all of its “Chicago Typewriter” glory the 1928 pattern M1A1 is perfect for bringing back that gangland or WWII nostalgia.

MP40

Employed by the German Army in WWII, the MP40 was a prized battlefield pick-up by US soldiers.  Big magazine, folding stock, and lots of fun are big draws to the MP!

M3 Grease Gun

Named for its stunning good looks, the utilitarian M3 Grease Gun was less cuddly and much more economically feasible SMG used from WWII through Desert Storm.

M712

If carbines aren’t your thing, then the M712 (C96 variant) might be.  The M712 “Broomhandle” pistol uses a box mag, full blowback action, and runs on a single 12g CO2.
