Umarex USA, Inc. discovered a potential safety problem with the RWS – 5G Magnum Air Pistol sold between July 11, 2006, and February 22, 2008, with serial numbers 03316939 through 03344312. We believe some of these pistols may accidentally discharge without a pull of the trigger or not be able to be cocked or fired. You should stop using these air pistols immediately.
Therefore, if your RWS – 5G Magnum Air Pistol has a serial number from 03316939 through 03344312, please stop using it. Please return the air pistol for repair to:

Please note: The serial number is located on the left side of the barrel of the air pistol. If there is a “P” inscribed next to the stamped date of manufacture (e.g., 02 07P) under the rear cap cover on the left side of the receiver, the air pistol has already been inspected and repaired.
