We Need to Share Something with You

Here we are at the closing of another year. 2024 has been a weird one for sure. Nothing was normal, it seemed, from the weather to world events to popular culture– it’s been topsy-turvy to say the least. And it is drawing to a close.  One would be remiss not to reminisce on the things they are thankful for, especially considering that Thanksgiving is quickly approaching. 

Personally, 2024 has had its share of hard times for me. It has also had some amazing highlights.  Both the lows of the heartaches and the highs of the good times lead me to the same conclusion– to be thankful for them all. These events make up what is often referred to as milestones in our lives. Last night, when I should have been sleeping, I thought a good deal about these milestones in my life for the past year. They have added up to, what I believe, is a better version of me. One that is a year older, a little wiser, a little more aware of what is going on around me. 

Leading From the Front

Speaking of the collective here at Umarex Airguns, 2024 has been a year of growth and innovation. Our staffing here at our US headquarters has grown. This has allowed us to better serve our customers, provide jobs for people in our community, and increase our in-house capabilities.  This is certainly something that we are thankful for.

We are also growing our product offerings.This is leading to a more diverse group of customers new to the Umarex family. Growing both our catalog and fan base is also a big milestone for us to be thankful for. 

Hand in hand with that growing catalog is our continuing commitment to innovation. In the past we have ventured into PCP air rifles with the original Gauntlet, big bore PCPs with the Hammer, and air archery with the AirJavelin and AirSaber platforms.  This year we introduced the Komplete NCR along with its power source, the NitroAir cartridge.  This twin launch represents something truly innovative in the airgun industry in delivering to the consumer both a PCP rifle platform and a charging method that eliminates the need for a high pressure compressor or PCP hand-pump. 

Grateful for You

The Komplete wasn’t created for PCP shooters, but rather for airgun shooters who want an accurate, multi-shot, powerful air rifle that is super easy to use. In the Komplete, these attributes come together beautifully. Never before has PCP accuracy and power been available to a consumer with such little hassle. There’s no need for a pump, no need for a compressor. All of a sudden the gate to PCP airgunning has been lowered to a point where nearly anyone could jump on board. 

The good thing is that it wasn’t just us who got excited about the Komplete and NitroAir system.  We’ve experienced strong demand from our retail partners and directly from you, our customers.  For this, we are truly thankful.  

What else are we thankful for?  The upcoming year comes to mind. We have a lot to look forward to in the future. Our hope is to continue growing, adding more jobs here at our facility, and to continue offering the products our customers have come to expect along with innovative gear that you might not be expecting.  And none of this is possible without you.  You are the number one thing we are thankful for.  Without you, none of this matters.  Thank you.
