Fresh Air and No Pump– The Synergis Elite

Some surprises are good and welcome. Others are not so welcome. For me and likely you, too, surprise expenses are always a downer. Just the other day I woke up to a flat battery in my truck. A “good” car battery these days is well north of $200.  Rats. Such is life.

When it comes to air ri...

And Now Something Completely Different
Value and Innovation are two things that rank highly in what we do. We love to give our customers a whole lot of bang for their buck and give them an airgun shooting experience that is just not found everywhere. For some products these two features align to a great deal, and on some other products one might win out over the other. In the case of the brand new AER16 BB carbine, there’s certainly a case for both, but many might see this as favoring the innovative side of the coin. Let’s lay out the facts surrounding the AER16 and you can decide for yourself.
The Umarex Canex Leads in Value and Innovation
The perfect day for you might not be the perfect day for me, but when I think of shooting the Canex, the newest pellet rifle from Umarex, a perfect day might include a fresh box of CO2, a tin of pellets, a whole stack of Shoot-N-C adhesive targets, and a couple of old boxes to stick the targets to. The Canex is a simple pellet rifle, that is to say that it has a very simple interface, and offers shooters an enormous return on their investment. Since the Canex is powered by two 12g CO2 cartridges, there is no wrestling match with the barrel for each shot or an expensive and time consuming pump needed to power it up either. Just unscrew the CO2 piercing screw found under the removable stock shoulder pad and install the first cartridge with the tip pointed toward the muzzle and the second cartridge with the tip facing the back of the rifle.
What Do We Have Here?
About a year ago we started selling the Notos .22 caliber PCP air rifle. Or is it an air pistol? Whatever it is and whatever form you choose to use it in, you guys evidently thought very highly of this little bumblebee of an airgun. We’ve actually had a difficult time keeping them in stock, which is a positive in that the Notos is popular, but also a negative in that it has been so hard to attain for many people.
Where Can You Get the NEW Komplete?
The Komplete is officially in the retail stream at this moment. This is good news for all of you airgunners who were looking to score the first ever NitroAir powered air rifle. We were pretty certain the Komplete was going to be a hit when we announced it and we have not been disappointed. Our retail partners have been very enthusiastic about the Komplete, too. So much so that you might be better off looking for a Komplete at one of those retailers.
The Strategic Advantage of Nitrogen Cartridge Rifles for Preppers
In the world of emergency preparedness, ensuring that one has reliable and efficient tools is paramount. Among these tools, nitrogen cartridge rifles, like the Umarex Komplete™ NCR, have emerged as a significant asset for preppers. These rifles, which utilize cartridges pre-filled with nitrogen gas to a pressure of 3,600 psi, offer several unique advantages that make them an excellent choice for survival scenarios. Here, we delve into why these innovative airguns are gaining popularity in the prepper community.
The Dawn of New Airgun Technology
Once upon a time Waylon Jennings asked in song, “Don’t you think this outlaw bit’s done got out of hand?” The 70s were wild and (good) Country music was rebelling from the “countrypolitan” sounds that had taken over Nashville. The change was needed, although it wasn’t for everyone. Some people will insist on the same old pablum they’ve been consuming for years and years. But sometimes you have to break a few rules, a few windows, or a few hearts to make something really good happen. We think we have done just that with the Umarex Komplete™ Nitrogen Cartridge Rifle (NCR) pre-charged pneumatic air rifle system.
The Birth of the Komplete NitroAir System
For Stephen Lamboy, director of strategic development, the launch of the Umarex Komplete NCR and NitroAir® is the culmination of years of design work, testing and quite a bit of dealing with red tape.
Umarex is Headed to Phoenix!
The desert is evidently where it’s at. At least it is in the spring of the year and you are in the Phoenix area. For real, there’s over two million people that live in the Phoenix/Tucson area. There must be some sort of draw to get so many people to huddle together in the middle of the desert (insert leaving California joke here). While I may not understand the subtleties and draw of desert southwest living, I do understand the draw of the outdoors, wherever you happen to hang your hat. An event like this is a wonderful opportunity for a manufacturer or retailer to talk to their customers. In an age where so much of our interactions are so distant and impersonal, a face-to-face event like this is a breath of fresh air and coincidentally, in the fresh air. What more can you ask for?
False Spring,  Anxiety, and Luck
Spring is right around the corner and not a moment too soon. Granted, here in the South we didn’t have all that hard of a winter.  Yes, in spite of my chin whiskers, winter is not my favorite season– even if it is a mild winter. We’ve had our first taste of spring already.  Actually, we’ve had two waves of spring.  Down here we call them the “Fool’s Spring and the “Spring of Deception”.
